Abstract

|
|
Acute puerperal inversion of the uterus is a rare obstetric emergency that may occur once or twice in an obstetrician's lifetime practice. This paper represents a case of puerperal uterine inversion causing severe postpartum hemorrhage. In our
experience of this case immediate administration of intravenous fluid and blood along with manual reduction was essential to prevent a disaster.
